Faye Carol Bertrang

Faye Carol Bertrang, age 92, long time resident of Crestview, Florida was called home by her Heavenly Father on Thursday, February 19, 2026. Faye was born on March 21, 1933 in Watertown, South Dakota to Nick Till, Jr. and Eva Mae Stark. She lived there until she married Robert in 1952. After moving around the country in the Air Force for 30 years they retired in Crestview to be near their daughter, Debbie, and their grandchildren, Jennifer and Erin, to watch and enjoy them growing up.

Faye comes from a large family, 3 brothers and 2 sisters. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Kaye Lynn; her husband, Robert; her parents and 3 siblings. She leaves behind June Snodgrass of Reedsport, OR and Larry Till of Fullerton, CA. She is survived by her daughter, Debbie (Bob) Armor of Fort Walton Beach, FL and 2 granddaughters Jennifer (Brad) Chicoine of Milton, and Erin (Chris) Edelen of Davenport, FL; 6 great grandchildren, David, Jerhyn, Scotlyn, Alyssa, Christopher and Jacob; and 2 great great grandchildren, Haven and Anakin.

Funeral services with the immediate family will be held on Friday, March 20, 2026 at 11:30am at Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola Naval Station, Pensacola, FL.

The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to the wonderful staff at Westwood Nursing and Rehabilitation for the care and attention they provided to Faye.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes to have a Mass said for Faye at your local parish.
